Day One

I've been 17 for a week now and it's awesome. I've bought 1 R-Rated movie and applied for one job. Hopefully I get it. It's a small job down at a gas station about 12 minutes from my house, which wouldn't be bad. I need to get some clothes I can work in though because I out grew all of mine. My aunt is going to take me to a used clothes store tomorrow to look for them. She would today but her girlfriend just moved to LA and she's really upset.

They wanted to get married last month, but because of the snow storm that month they couldn't make it to Iowa. Afterwards they just didn't have the money. But Tony, my aunt's girl, needed to make more money for her mother in the Philippines. So she left to loo for work. Lucky, it only took her two days to find something and my aunt Kate should be moving in a few months to live with her. After that, if I don't have a job, I might try moving in with my aunt and finding a job in little rock or some of the cities around it. Maybe in Jacksonville near my boyfriend, I'd work with him but he builds houses for a living.

Mel is 21 and the best man i have ever met. We've been together for 2 years and my family loves him. He always buys me things, makes me laugh, is there when I need him. A lot of people have told me that because when we met I was 14 and he was 19 that me and him couldn't make it work. There's 4 1/2 years between us, but age is just a state of mind. Time was created to give meaning to those who needed it. But for people like me, it doesn't matter.

I'm at my aunt's right now, she lives with my grandmother(her mom) but I don't think that will last long. They never can stand each other for major lengths of time. Might be because they are so much alike, but who knows. I'm on my grandmother's laptop watching Into The Wild. It's a really good movie that I recommend to anyone who likes movies about adventure and truth.

I don't know when I'm going home, maybe in a week or so. I don't want to anyway, I'm the oldest out of six kids and my family tends to bug me. My mom doesn't work and we're all home schooled, see my dilemma? O well, I'm getting my GED this year and if mom won't let me live with Nana I'll just wait until I'm old enough to move out on my own. I need money though, but I'm working on that.
